Summary: The Director of Operations (DO) is an innovative, self-motivated individual seeking an opportunity to implement and oversee processes that will set new standards and drive continued growth for the company. She/he is tasked with leading our various consumer-driven properties using high-quality service models that are showcased through our motivated and inspired staff on a daily basis. The DO will work autonomously and report directly to the Executive Team. A service-oriented individual with an eye for detail and passion for developing team members.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assists in developing strategies and implementation plans to improve and standardize all aspects of both the overall and unit-level operations

  • Supports the individual venues and sets them up for sustainable success

  • Helps develops and standardizes service and managerial expectations

  • Supports individual units as well as marketing team with programming implementation and execution

  • Oversees catering manager and assists in creating and executing operationally smooth events

  • Promotes company culture

  • Has a regular presence at each location, and can be ready to work shifts if and when needed

  • Holds weekly P+L/Manager meetings

  • Has a strong understanding of equipment preventative and routine maintenance

  • Interacts with and maintains strong working relationships with vendors and outside partners

  • Manages / Audits POS system

  • Oversees and maintains health codes and employee safety standards at each unit


  • Manages and monitors individual venue budgetary needs, overseeing weekly P+Ls for each location

  • Regularly communicates with and has a strong working relationship with accountants

  • Creates reports for executive to understand financial performance

  • Ensures updated files and paperwork for HR at each unit

  • Ability to read and audit balance sheet, P+L, and understand cash flow

  • Meets revenue and cost budgets


  • Handles HR policies, procedures and paperwork, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations

  • Assists with employee training, mentorship and retention

  • Implements company wide training and onboarding procedures

  • Assists with hiring and firing staff
